HOW to PREPARE ARTWORK to PDF ?

For better understand the procedure of necessary preparation of your new Artwork, depending on your preferred Software tools, we produce short video movies to fast expose specific things of adjustments, very important in our technical communication.

Please, take these instructions mandatory, to minimize misunderstanding in our technical correspondence.

What is IMPORTANT in our technical artwork communication?

In the PDF preparation, there are five key issues that you need to pay attention to following

CMYK and RGB:

CMYK and RGB: All images / fonts / images / graphics etc created within the document must be in four color process (CMYK is our printing method). If the images are not color, they must be grayscale. This means that they must be converted to CMYK and not left as RGB.

Outcome and pass marks:

Output 3 mm should be placed anywhere where an image or area of ​​color reaches the edge of the contour line of Download Template.

Resolution

Each PDF and all images within it are recommended to be at least 300 dpi. Quality will be diluted by lower resolutions but may still be acceptable. It is subjective. All image files used in spaces of vectors, e.g. (The signature scans must be at least 1200 dpi).

Fonts

All fonts should be included / embedded and remain as text. Do not convert to an image.

Pictures

All images must be included / embedded.
Images must be compressed using ZIP compression, not JPEG-which will reduce image quality.

PDF files must be: minimum Version 1.3

Note: 

Failure to address these questions can result in your job being less than perfect or our refusal to print from the drawing quality. This is your ArtWork and your responsibility. We print the PDF graphics that you create and the end job is the result of your insurance issues.
